The rooms were well appointed with stand alone shower, a private balcony, plenty of storage, and a very comfortable bed. All these things warrant a 5 rating but the true excellence of this hotel is the staff/service. From the moment you arrive you experience a special connection with the staff. They are so friendly and attentive that you feel like you are the only guest of the hotel but I can tell you they treat every guest the same way. There are too many people doing outstanding work to name but I want to especially acknowledge Alice and her front desk staff. There was always a cold towel and a bottle of water waiting for me when I returned to the hotel. And the tours…..same quality service outside the hotel as I received inside the hotel. And the spa, amazing professionals. I’ve been a business/personal traveler for 40+ years and I would rate this hotel a top 5 stay of all time for me. I’ll be back! Bonus is that it is one of the closest hotels to Angkor Wat. That means you’re last to be picked up by tour shuttles and first to be dropped off.
